The Heart Fund is building the first hospital plane equipped with the latest cardiological diagnosis technologies
THE WORLD'S FIRST
Three years ago, The Heart Fund imagined caring for children anywhere in the world without having to build a hospital. Today, this vision is becoming a reality, and the first Heart Jet will took off in May 2017 on its first mission for a screening trip in Haiti.
The Heart Jet is a health and social revolution to combat the injustice of a lack of access to care for the most disadvantaged.

A HEALTH REVOLUTION
The Heart Jet is a solution for millions of children who go without care because of a lack of financial resources or because they are geographically isolated.
The Heart Jet is a Pilatus PC 12, a single-engine business plane with the world's top turboprop engine, which is able to land on all types of runways within a distance of 558 meters. The Heart Jet revolutionizes access to cardiological care.
A TECHNOLOGICAL INNOVATION
Fully personalized for medical use, The Heart Jet carries eight people, including two pilots, as well as all the latest-generation cardiological diagnosis material.
It will enable making precise diagnoses of complex congenital cardiopathies in the most hostile environments. It includes a cardiac ultrasound unit, a biological laboratory, a portable x-ray machine, an electrocardiograph and a pulse oximeter.
SUPER MOBILE CARDIOLOGY
Equipped with cutting-edge medical equipment
The Heart Jet combines precision, reliability and the most sophisticated technologies from the worlds of aeronautics and medicine. Designed by humanitarian doctors, pilots and aeronautical experts, it includes top-performance mobile medical equipment, representing an aero-medical revolution.
The Heart Mobile is equipped with one of the lightest portable ultrasound devices. Using advanced imaging technology, it provides revolutionary image quality and enables detecting and diagnosing even the most complex congenital malformations. It is an indispensable tool for cardiologists and surgeons in deciding on a future therapy.
The telemedicine platform enables the local team, wherever it is found, to be in contact with international experts to discuss the most complex cases or confirm a diagnosis. Using a high-definition camera, the teams can carry out remote consultations.
Using a revolutionary technique, this portable lab is one of the world's fastest and best-performing. A drop of blood and 50 seconds are all that is needed for a complete biological assessment. It is required for evaluating the state of advancement of the disease, complications and the patient's pre-operational status.
The electrocardiogram (EKG) analyzes the heart's electrical activity and enables detecting irregular heartbeat. An EKG is made systematically when screening for irregular heartbeat in children and adults.
With the portable x-ray generator, The Heart Mobile can take digital pictures that are available immediately, even in the desert or in the jungle. Images are stored automatically on a secure server, and each patient has a personal medical folder.
